Is acid reflux disease and diarrhea be related? ?

I just got diagnosed with acid reflux disease. I have not started any medication for it yet. However, I have constant. diarrhea and/or loose stools. Is acid reflux and diarrhea related?

Yes, it could be related because it is all a part of your digestive system. I have acid reflux and IBS. Make sure you tell the Dr. who diagnosed that you have the combination because chronic diahhrea can also be symptoms of other health issues. Constant diahrrea is serious and inconvenient. I am on treatment as my acid reflux was causing more serious erosions in my throat. I highly reccommend you ask your Dr. Good Luck!
I was diagnosed with anxiety 2 years ago. My symptoms were DIARRHEA, acid reflux, dizziness, and many others that are in the following article. You may have even when u dont think u do. Better see a doc!
