Baking soda works well. It neutralizes the acid that causes the burning. It will cause you to burp loud and long, but it works almost immediately. One caution though is that if you have had a lot to drink and eat and your stomach is full, it may cause you to throw up some of the food and drink in your stomach when you burp. It’s still worth it. Just be aware that you could release more than just gas from your stomach.
I usually just drink some milk and maybe eat a piece of bread. My mom SWEARS by a spoonful of vinegar – I tried it once, it was awful, and made it a little worse at first, then it went away.
oddly enough chocolate works for me like a milk chocolate candy or something like that but for some people it makes it worse or mints sometimes work or clear soda like sprite or 7up
Baking soda and water (instructions on the box)
Also, for long term remedy of the condition, I hear from friends in the medical field, that a teaspoon of household vinegar a day will change your ph and end your suffering.
Stop eating Pizza!
Water definally helps as it reduces the acidty in your stomach
Nutritional calcium tablets may also help to as they usually the same ingriedents with antacids
Relax and make sure your stomach/chest are isnt cramped
Try to sleep upright to help slow down the acid
