Milk
Recently one of my co-workers was having a terrible time with her reflux. A friend of hers told her to take a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar and the pain completely disappeared. From my understanding, vinegar neutralizes acid.
Drop a few pounds. Sleep with your head elevated.

I too suffer from acid reflex and the way I control it is to watch what I eat and also I take maalox pills before I eat and that helps alot
milk (although this will only work if it’s a mild case). Ginger ale works for some. Try drinking LOTS of water. Sit up straight.
They say that vinegar is a natural remedy, but who could drink it down straight? ugh
My Mom had this. She was cured of it, by a complete natural remedy. You should read the book "Natural Cures" by Kevin Trudeau. And try not to listen to people tell you he’s wrong, or that can’t be right. You’d be surprised.
mix a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drink it before going to bed.
Drink a lot of water during the day and maybe a glass of milk before bed. Also, avoid too many spicy foods or sodas, which can make it worse. It’ll ease the symptoms, at least. But i think acid reflux is a disease that can only really be cured by prescription medication, so to get rid of it for good, you (and I) may need to see a doctor. But these things do make it much easier to live with.
