How to cure Acid Reflux?

I’m 14 and I have had acid reflux for about a month now! Are there any home remedies that can help me cure it???

If you do have acid reflux, there is no home remedy to cure it. Some things to try to help control it are, don’t eat and lay down right away, put some books or something under the posts at the top of your bed to raise your head, eat slowly and chew your food more. Acid reflux is when the stomach acid and contents come back up out of your stomach and into your esophagus. There is a valve at the end of your esophagus that’s supposed to stop this from happening. If this is what’s happening you really need to see your doctor and have it checked out. Even if it’s just indigestion you should still go see your doctor about it to find out what’s causing it and get something to help you. It could turn out to be nothing to worry about, or it could be the start of something more serious like ulcers or a problematic gal bladder or that valve itself.
